• Equipment needs include: rakes, hoes, pruners, gas- or battery-powered weed whackers (well marked with your name)
• Stake drivers and bush hogs would be very helpful, if you have them

• This position will meet at the Arizona Bowl Office - 147 N Stone Ave (parking in the Main Library Garage on Alameda St. or on street in metered spaces)

• Slotters will assist field registrants in finding the row and space assigned for their car entry
• Car Slotters must serve with the utmost care as many of the vehicles are extremely valuable

• Car Slotters are expected to pay close attention to instructions, to vehicle traffic and to follow direction of the Slotter Supervisors
• Brief training is provided to ensure Slotters are confident in fulfilling their responsibilities

  --> Monitor site to ensure that garbage is not littering the grounds
  --> Pick-up full trash bags
  --> Place empty bags in trash receptacles
  --> Put trash to roll-off dumpster
• Volunteers should wear work gloves

• Youth (ages 15-18) are eligible to volunteer for this role with permission slip completed

Description:

• Critically important job to help Rotary Club of Tucson Classics Car Show guests have a great experience before and after attending the Show
• Managing traffic flow in the Volunteer Lot (parking area east of Castle Hill Day School - off of Craycroft)
• Assist in keeping pedestrians safe while cars are moving in and out of parking area

• Volunteers will be given assignments upon arrival
• The more volunteers we have, the faster and easier the clean-up will be completed (many hands make light work)
