Description:

  • Critically important job to help Rotary Club of Tucson Classics Car Show guests have a great experience before and after attending the Show
  • Managing traffic flow in the Volunteer Lot (parking area east of Castle Hill Day School - off of Craycroft)
  • Assist in keeping pedestrians safe while cars are moving in and out of parking area

Please be aware that:

  • Walking is required
  • Standing is required
  • Wear Sister Jose Women's Center branded hat, t-shirts to show your SJWC Pride!
  • Closed toed shoes and sunscreen are recommended

  • Prepare The Gregory School for the Rotary Club of Tucson Classics Car Show
  • Install signs
  • Set-up parking areas with cones
  • Prep tables with coverings, trash recepticles with bags & other duties necessary to have Gregory School ready for Show
  • Please come prepared with work gloves, wear boots, long-sleeved shirts & long pants, hats & sunscreen

Please be aware that:

  • This is physical labor
  • Standing and walking are required
  • Water will be available but you are encouraged to bring extra as it will likely be warm

OPTIONAL - Show Set-Up

  • Our goal is to leave The Gregory School, its fields and parking areas, better than we found them
  • Volunteers will be given assignments upon arrival
  • The more volunteers we have, the faster and easier the clean-up will be completed (many hands make light work)
  • Remove signage from throughout event footprint
  • Collect garbage and dispose of properly
  • Come prepared with work gloves, wear boots or close-toed shoes, hat and sunscreen

Please be aware that:

  • You will be doing physical labor
  • Standing is required
  • Walking is required
  • Youth (ages 15-18) are eligible to volunteer for this role with permission slip completed

Post-Show Activity (Sunday, October 20, 2024)

OPTIONAL - Sunday Clean-up

8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Description:

  • Our goal is to leave The Gregory School, its fields and parking areas, better than we found them
  • Volunteers will be given assignments upon arrival
  • The more volunteers we have, the faster and easier the clean-up will be completed (many hands make light work)
  • Move equipment and signage owned by the Rotary Club of Tucson to the storage unit (west side of The Gregory School)
  • Assist with inventory of equipment
  • Remove stakes and cones from parking lots and place in designated location
  • Collect garbage and dispose of properly
  • Rake and sweep grounds (please bring rakes and brooms clearly marked with your name)
  • Come prepared with work gloves, wear boots or close-toed shoes, hat and sunscreen

Please be aware that:

  • You will be doing physical labor
  • Standing is required
  • Walking is required
  • Youth (ages 15-18) are eligible to volunteer for this role with permission slip completed
